Design is a process. When you think about design you might think of a logo, poster, or advertisement. To make those the way that they are it all had to start with a design. Design goes back far into our history. Even the early settlers had to figure out a blueprint to make their houses and fences. There was a lot of designing that went into making the pyramids and even the temples. Design is very crucial for our society. You might think “how did these buildings get here?” or “how is this structure made perfectly”. It’s simple. It took a process and careful planning to ensure that those structures and buildings look exactly the way you want them to. Design can also have a touch of your personality or your interpretations on how you want a piece to look. As long as a design is consistent with certain guidelines it can become something great. In designing certain pieces I go about design with the intent of making something interesting and appealing to my target audience. If I don't engage the audience in my designs I have not fulfilled my purpose. It's also about solving a problem. A design should be able to solve what you intend it to do.
